Software Use for Ancillery task

Webiste: When creating our website we used Adobe Flash CS4, within this we created all of our pages and added different effects. We imported pictures and added text that was relevant in the explination of our film. One of the main techniques used whithin flash was the picture scroll of our cast and crew. I Adobe Dreamweaver CS4
used to create the layout for my website to ensure that it looked proffessional and well done.

Magazine: when creating my magazine i used Adobe Photoshop CS4 to edit the background to enable me to take out the background and place the picture upon a different one. This was the first time i have ever used photoshop however i only used the wand tool. I used fireworks when creating my magazine to layer my pictures onto a differnt background. My text was created within fireworks through the text tool in order to ensure that all my wiring was the same as the empire and looked realistically like an empire magazine.

Poster: When creating my poster again i only used the wand tool within photoshop to enable me to place my picture upon another background. I also used Fireworks to do the rest such as titles and other writing, i used the text option to do this and changed the settings of the size and colour. I also used firworks to layer my picture onto the page in order to put my picturs upon a different background. I used the transparency tool in order to make some of my picture fade into the background in order to make my poster look more proffessional.

Titles: Adobe After Affects CS4, i imported my edited film from imove to adobe after affects in order for me to create the titles. When creating the titles we made sure that all the font stayed the smae and looked proffessional. We added the text we wanted and changed the effects from the list provided to us.

Editing the film production: We edited our film within Imovie, i feel the editing went well however this was our first time of using Imovie to edit. Our teaser looked professional and our transitions worked well. The only problem we had with Imovie was it cut out alot of our framing meaning alot of our work had to be readjusted.

Soundtrack: Our music was created within GrarageBand and we used Itunes to import some of the music onto the Mac. We used GarageBand to edit the music to fit well with the film and also used some of the music from Garageband to acompany our imported music. This helped create a better mood and ensure that tension was built in the correct places.
