DVD cover
This is a rough sketch plan of the layout of my DVD cover.
I created a layout plan as it would help when coming to produce the final peiece of the front DVD COVER. We had discussed how we wanted the layout to be and what layout would work out to be the best also to appeal to our targeted audience.

This is a progress of my DVD cover. I have used a colour scheme throughout the whole production: ancillary tasks and the titles of the film therefore the presentation is at a high standard.
We thought the structure of the DVD worked out well, all we need is an image that presents the film production.

Our finished DVD cover

I had re – done my previous draft front DVD cover. I took a picture of the main characters shoes. I used Adobe Fireworks CS4 to edit the image, saturate it also on Microsoft Publisher 2010 I added in a quote in stylistic position.
We felt that when looking at the DVD cover the audience would be able to tell the genre of the film. We used red shoes as the image. This expresses the negative connotation of danger and shows the film is lethal. Also it gives the audience an insight to the content of the DVD.
The image is positioned in the middle which audience eyes would focus more to the middle.
I have imported a gold circle around the image; the reason for this is the circle is a ring which is one of the key images to our film.
The position of the film name is above the image. Also the black background which gives a sense of mysterious, fear and unknown.
I also used typical symbol; DVD video Symbol.
Excellent research and design.
