When researching sound for our teaser trailer, we understood that we were not allowed to use copyright music therefore we had to create our own sound using garageband software. In order to create our own sound, we carried out a lot of research on real media text that use sound for a particular genre which is mystery, romance and drama.
We had non copyright sounds that were on an album, which the artist had given us permission to use their sound. So we had chosen two tracks that were used during the sea view scene.
And for rest of the teaser trailer, we had to research a lot on sound by understanding what sound creates what type of mood, if the sound is suitable, does the sound give the right effect that we wish it to do etc.
